Early Learning of English

          In 2007, the Alaska Children’s Trust with funding from DEED and additional support from ConocoPhilips Alaska and BP Alaska, awarded Best Beginnings a four year grant to produce guides in languages other than English based on the state’s Early Learning guidelines. Many people have pro and contra about study English earlier. Studying English earlier can give knowledge when still child. The children easier to develop english later. On the other hand, studying English earlier can make confuse, because there are a lot of vocabularies. It can difficult for children to memorize it. However, we can notice that Early Learning of English has positive effects and negative effects.

     First, the positive effects of Early Learning of English. Studying English earlier can make the children become curios. The children like new things to know anything about English. They can learn by listening the music, playing video game, and also reading on the pictures of animals, fruits,and part of body. It can easier to know when they start learning english later. Besides that, studying English earlier can make the children take initiative. For example, when they want to watch cartoon in Youtube. They can use laptop or mobile phone. They can operate it by themselves.

     Second, the negative effects of Early Learning of English. Studying English should be patiently. We should learn step by step. This is difficult for children, because they should playing and studying. Studying English earlier can make the children confuse. In English, there are a lot of vocabularies. They difficult to remember the words after they learn. Besides that, the children ordinary like to play rather than study. They almost have no time to study, because they spend too much time for pleasure.

     In fact, Early Learning of English has positive effects and negative effects for children. The children become curios about English and make the children initiative. In other side, the children majority like to play rather than study. It depends on their parents how to give the best education for their children.
