Selling Body Organs for Money

Health is everything for us. People have their own daily activities and routine. Their health must be in good condition to do it. Otherwise, they can't do their activities or daily routine. Ironically, there are some people who sell their organs for money. Moreover, the government has a plan to legalize this phenomenon. Maybe some people agree with this plan, but I think selling body organs should not be legalize because it will lead to another problems, our body is not one hundred complete, and it is not totally safe.
First, the reason why selling organs should not be legalize is because it will lead to another problems. Most people who want to sell their own organs are poor people. They have financial problems. For example is the case of young women who tries to sell her kidney because she can't pay her tuition fee. Actually, it might create another bigger problem. For example, when we lose one of our organs like kidney, our metabolism system will not work properly. In the end, we will face another problem. Some other things that will happen is that it will affects humans in doing their daily activity and routine. They will easily get tired and they should do a kidney transplant and dialysis regularly to keep their kidney in a good condition. It is because they only have one kidney. In the end what can be done is limited.
Second, selling organs should not be legalize because selling one of our body organs means that our body is not one hundred percent complete. When a machine lose one of its components, the machine will not operate well and tend to break down easily. It also applies to our body. When one of our organs is missing, our entire body will not work as it should be and our health will be fragile. As a result, we will get sick easily. For example if we only have one kidney, our kidney can't filter toxin in the blood in our body. As quoted from Scientific American, Monday (19/10/2009) if you only has one kidney, then these organs have to work harder. Because kidney nephrons, - the smallest unit of the kidney that has the function to filter the blood and is located on the outer layer of the kidney, - will be reduced function by 1 percent each year after a person aged 40 years. In fact, if we only have one kidney we can't do our activities because we are not allowed to be exhausted or else will get sick instantly.
Third, selling organs should not be legalize because it is not totally safe. By selling our internal organs, it means we need to do surgery. Even though the surgery is handled by expert surgeon, it still has high risk. The chance of failure of surgery is still high, even if the surgery protocol has been done well. Some of the negative effects that may occur is a continuous bleeding or risk of infection because the equipment is not sterile. There is also a possibility when it actually damaged kidney surgery and interfere with normal functioning. That's because, sure to get expert doctors and hospitals are already well-known reputation when about to undergo kidney surgery. The worst is that you might lose your worthy life.
In conclusion when you have financial problems, don't be so hesitate to sell your body organs right away. Try to find another way out to solve your financial problems. The government also has responsibility for protecting poor people. By selling body organs, it will not fix the problems. It is the other way around, it may create another problems. In fact, there is no good reason to sell your organs. Health is everything for us.
