Online National Exam

         As we know before, held the National Exam becomes pro and contra in many aspects. Many problems come because of the National Exam. One of the examples is the leakage of the National Exam’s questions and answers is one of the big problems. Students of Junior and Senior High School must be ready for having Online National Exam because the ministry of educational and cultural makes a new technical examination that is doing the examination online. However, this Online National Exam is not required for all of the students, but only for 500.000 students. For the other students will still have National Exam as usual. It is because the online national exam is still having the quality on piloting the style of examination whether it will success or not. This Online National Exam program has been creating from some years before. There are many advantages for having Online National Exam.

First, having an Online National Exam is to minimize the estimating fund to stock the paper questions and the answer sheets for the copy. There will be a lot of money earn just for the paper. It is better if the money that is use for copying the paper questions and the answer sheets are used for other important things. Instead using paper for National Exam it is better to use computer. Many students in Indonesia know how to use and operate the computer. It will be easier for many aspects especially for the government. Even this Online National Exam not for all the students, but we will see the result for the next period. If it works well then it is a good idea for having Online National Exam. Then, the fund will use for another requirement such as the facilities like computer and the Wi-Fi to connect to the Internet.

Second, decrease the potentials of leakages the exam questions. The access on the Internet is very tight. Especially if it is for the National Exam then the level of the security will higher than other. The efficiency of time to distribute the exam questions can manage to minimize the leakages. The government can upload the exam questions when the Online National Exam is start. Because of that, people cannot hack the system to break the exam questions. As we know now, not using Online National Exam many people can buy the answer. It means that the leakages of the question sheet is weak. So it is better if we use the internet for having National Exam.

Third, the Online National Exam can help the education to develop the utilization of the information technology. Nowadays, many programs start using the Internet to study. Teachers can give the exercise through the Internet. The teacher can use online media as the teaching technic for the students. It is also can help the students to be familiar in using computer and accessing the Internet. So that, when the Online Exam is held the students will not confused in case how to answer the question.

In conclusion, hopefully the Online National Exam will be a better conclusion for having National Exam. Even this Online National Exam is not for all the students in Indonesia, but the government believes that it helps. There are some advantages for having this Online National Exam. The first is the Online National Exam will tighten the estimating fund to stock the paper exam. Second, decrease the potential of leakages the exam question. Last, it helps the education to develop the utilization of the information technology.
